Theresa M. Hughes

Mrs. Theresa M. (nee Gerathy) Hughes died on Saturday, January 8, 2011 in West Caldwell.
A Funeral Mass will be offered in St. Catherine of Siena Church, Cedar Grove on Friday, January 14 at 10:30AM. Visiting in the Prout Funeral Home, (www.proutfuneralhome.com) 370 Bloomfield Avenue, Verona on Friday from 9AM to the time of the Mass.
Born in NYC, Mrs. Hughes lived in Cedar Grove for 35 years prior to moving to Crane's Mill in West Caldwell in 1998.
Mrs. Hughes served in WW2 with the American Red Cross Foreign Service in Hawaii, Saipan and Germany, followed by the US State Department Foreign Service in China, Pakistan and Africa.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Wm. Gwynne Hughes, her sister, Marjorie Vosper and her brother, Albert Gerathy. She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Wm. J. Vosper, Michelle Lo, Ann Scunio, Albert J. Gerathy and Patricia Moran.
