Robert Slawski

Robert Steven Slawski passed away on September 3, 2025 in Glen Ridge, NJ surrounded by his loving family and friends. He was 69 years old.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, he graduated from Bishop Loughlin Memorial High School and attended LaGuardia Community College in Queens, NY. He moved to Verona 30 years ago.

Bob was a Facilities Director for Kering, a global luxury group headquartered in Paris, France. He worked with the US division located in Wayne, New Jersey for 45 years, retiring in 2023.

He was predeceased by his infant son, Alexei Thomas Slawski and his parents, Alexander Bernard Slawski and Frances Urbanski Slawski.

Bob is survived by his devoted wife, Nancy Gonzalez; loving children, Victoria Dabrowski ( and her husband, Paul), Nicolas Slawski, Stefan Slawski and cherished grandchildren, Alyssa and Theodore Dabrowski. He is also survived by his brother, Richard Slawski and his wife, Billie and sisters, Apriele Kennedy and her husband, Vincent and Alisia Kendall and her husband, Duane.

Visiting will be held in the Prout Funeral Home, 370 Bloomfield Avenue, Verona, NJ on Sunday, September 7 from 12 to 2 pm and 4 to 6 pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the Calvary Lutheran Church, 23 South Prospect Street, Verona on Monday, September 8 at 11 am. Interment will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Caldwell.
