Mrs. Portia A. Blaine, 93, died on April 12, 2014 in West Orange, NJ. Services and interment are private. Born in NYC, NY, Mrs. Blaine has lived in Syosset since 1955. She was the Office Manager for Red Wing Products, Inc. in Plainview for 40 years, retiring in 1986. Mrs. Blaine was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Syosset. She was predeceased by her husband Edmund Blaine and her sister Cynthia Borstel. She is survived by her son, Michael E. Blaine (and his wife, Sarah) and her granddaughters, Elizabeth and Julianna.
