Philip Dacunzio

Mr. Philip Dacunzio, 92, died on April 5, 2020 in West Orange, NJ. Private services were held. Condolences may be left at proutfuneralhome.com.

Born and raised in Newark, NJ, Mr. Dacunzio lived in San Francisco and Cloverdale, CA before moving to West Orange, NJ two years ago.

He served in the US Army during World War II, graduated from Goddard College in Vermont and worked in management for the US Postal Service in San Francisco, CA. Mr. Dacunzio was also a proud member of the Sierra Club.

He was predeceased by his parents, Raffaele ("Ralph") and Lucy (nee Russo) Dacunzio, siblings, Frank, Jerry, Teresa Betcher, Louise and nephew, Paul Betcher.

Mr. Dacunzio is survived by his nephew, Ralph Betcher and his wife, Susan; great-niece, Katie, great-nephews, Charlie and Sean; great-great-nephew, Lucas Betcher and great-great-niece, Georgia Betcher.
