Patricia E. Riggin

Patricia E. Riggin, 79, died on April 17, 2015 in Denver, CO.
A Funeral Mass will be offered in St. Mary's Church, Nutley, on Saturday, May 2 at 10:30 am.
Visiting in the Prout Funeral Home, (www.proutfuneralhome.com) 370 Bloomfield Avenue, Verona will be on Saturday from 9 am to 10 am.
Born in Newark, NJ, Patti has lived in Belleville, NJ, Nutley, NJ, East Amherst, NY, Dallas TX, Oklahoma City, OK and Southern CA prior to moving to Vail, CO over 30 years ago.
She was a classically trained ballerina and dance instructor who was very involved in the Fine Arts and Catholic faith communities of Vail and all the communities in which she resided.
Patti was a lifelong member of Dance Masters of America and a choreographer for numerous charitable events over the years.
She is survived by her 4 sons, Scott (his wife, Lisa), Mark (his wife, Stephanie), Brett and Todd, her siblings, William Fitzsimmons, Karen Cawthorne and Michael Fitzsimmons. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and a large circle of dear friends in Vail.
