Patricia A. Gleason

Mrs. Patricia A. (nee Hooks) Gleason died peacefully at her home in West Caldwell on September 30, 2022. She was 102 years old.

Visiting will be in the Prout Funeral Home, 370 Bloomfield Avenue, Verona on Wednesday, October 5 from 4 to 7 pm. A Funeral Mass will be offered in St. Teresa of Calcutta - Immaculate Conception Church, Montclair on Thursday at 10 am. Entombment to follow in Immaculate Conception Mausoleum.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, Mrs. Gleason lived in Verona, NJ for 20 years and Montclair, NJ for 30 years prior to moving to Crane's Mill in West Caldwell in 2008.

She graduated from St. Saviour High School in Brooklyn and attended Brooklyn College.

Mrs. Gleason was formerly a member of the Montclair Garden Club, the Montclair Golf Club and a volunteer at the Montclair Art Museum.

She was predeceased by her husband, Francis J. Gleason and her son, Owen Gleason.

Mrs. Gleason is survived by her daughter in law, Roxanne Gleason; her children, Mary Dannemiller (Tom), Mark Gleason (Nichols), Hugh Gleason (Mary), Angela Gleason Perez (Jesus), Nora Leary (Rob) and 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
