Patricia A Carroll

Mrs. Patricia A. Carroll, 92, of West Orange, NJ, passed away on February 12, 2025, in Livingston, NJ.

Born and raised in West Orange, Pat graduated from West Orange High School with the Class of 1949 before earning her Bachelor's degree from Newark State Teachers College in 1953. She married the late Donald E. "Muggsy" Carroll, Sr. on June 7, 1951 at Our Lady of the Lake Church in Verona.

A devoted homemaker, Pat had a passion for antiques and owned Carroll's Country Cottage with Muggsy, an antique store on Bloomfield Avenue in Verona for 10 years. She later worked for Nye & Company in Bloomfield and maintained a booth at the Summit Antiques Center in Summit. She also was a docent at the Crane House in Montclair.

Pat was predeceased by her beloved husband, Donald E. Carroll, Sr.; her grandson, Shaun Daniel Carroll; and her siblings, Ernest Krauth, Jr. and Virginia Krauth Bauer.

She is survived by her son, Donald E. Carroll, Jr. and his wife, Patricia McEnroe Carroll; her grandson, Brandon Scott Carroll and his wife, Marianne; and her great-grandson, Cameron Carroll.

Visiting will be held at Prout Funeral Home, 370 Bloomfield Avenue, Verona, on Sunday, February 23, 2025, from 12 to 3 PM, with a service at 2:30 PM.
