Nancy Grace Witters

Nancy Grace Witters died peacefully at her home on July 4, 2023, surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was 59 years old.

Born in the Bronx and raised in Yonkers, Nancy lived in Chicago, Illinois for over a decade, then lived in Montclair for 18 years prior to moving to East Orange in 2017. She graduated from Maria Regina High School in Hartsdale, NY and has a degree in Theater Arts from Columbia College, Chicago.

Nancy was strongly planted on this earth. She lived life with enthusiasm and joyous splendor. She was an inimitable and prolific baker and a passionate Yoga Instructor in Montclair & the greater West Essex area and proud member of IYNAUS (Iyengar Yoga National Association of the United States).

She is predeceased by her father, Warren Steven Witters, Sr. and is survived by her husband, Neal S. Wilson; her sons, Leo M. Wilson (Tasmima), and Benjamin C. Wilson; her mother, Brenda Y. Witters and her siblings, Sue J. Witters, Warren Steven Witters, Jr., and Thomas L. Witters; and several nieces and nephews.

In keeping with her wishes, a home funeral with greener options was held privately.
