Michael “Mickey” T. Bahr

Michael "Mickey" Bahr passed away suddenly in the early morning hours of Friday, May 31st. He had just reached 29 years old the week before.

Mickey will always be remembered for his love of family and friends, warm smile, quick wit, love of animals, caring heart and gentle soul. Mike will be greatly missed by all who lives he had touched.

Michael was born in Presbyterian Hospital in New York City. Mike's early years were spent in Verona, NJ. He also lived in York, PA, and Point Pleasant, NJ. He most recently was living with his girlfriend Megan in Verona. Michael graduated from York (PA) High School in 2008

Michael is survived by his mother Nancy(Smith)Bahr {Richie MacMillan} and father Michael {June Kelly}, his sister Breanna , and stepbrother Salem, his grandmother Jane (Daly)Bahr and his niece Delilah Rose whom he cared for as if his own . He also leaves behind his girlfriend Megan Ryerson Maly, with whom he resided.

Michael also leaves behind many Uncles, Aunts and cousins, all of which he loved dearly.

Visiting will be held at Prout Funeral Home (condolences to www.ProutFuneralHome.com) 370 Bloomfield Avenue, Verona, NJ 07044 Wednesday, June 5, from 4 to 8 pm.

Services and interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Verona Volunteer Rescue Squad or a non-profit Animal Rescue organization of your choosing would be greatly appreciated.
