Mary W. Wiles

Mrs. Mary W. (nee Waterman) Wiles, 94, died on March 21, 2023 in Glen Ridge, NJ.

Private services were held.

Born in Oak Park, IL, Mrs. Wiles grew up in Westfield, NJ and lived in Seymour, CT, New York, Cedar Grove, NJ and Verona, NJ before moving to West Caldwell in 2016.

She graduated with a Bachelor's degree from Vassar College and a Master's degree from Columbia University and was a Special Education Coordinator for the Verona Board of Education.

Mrs. Wiles volunteered as a docent at Turtle Back Zoo in West Orange, NJ and was an avid bird watcher and bridge player.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, William W. Wiles, Sr.; her son, William W. Wiles, Jr.; her parents, Clyde Harold Waterman, Sr. and Lillian Attosa (nee Lane) Waterman; and her brother, Clyde Harold Waterman, Jr.
She is survived by her nephew, Gary Platt and his wife, Elaine and her niece, Gail Platt Weise.
