Joseph Paulyshun

Mr. Joseph Paulyshun died on April 21, 2020 in Cedar Grove.

Born and raised in Newark, NJ, Mr. Paulyshun lived in Roseland for 37 years prior to moving to Cedar Grove many years ago.

He served as a Sergeant in the US Army during World War II, seeing action on Omaha Beach and in France, Belgium and Germany. He received the Purple Heart, a Bronze Star, a Presidential Citation as well as the fourragere of the Croix de Guerre.

After his discharge from the Army he returned to Essex County and had a long and successful career in the field of Auto service & repair.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lucille Paulyshun.
