Jill E. Garitta

Ms. Jill E. Garitta died on June 13, 2024 in the Jersey City Medical Center. She was 45 years old.

Natural Burial Services will take place in the Steelmantown Cemetery, Woodbine, NJ on Saturday, June 22 at 3 pm.

Born in Staten Island, NY, Jill grew up and still called Bayonne her home. She graduated from St. Peter's University where she earned a scholarship as a competitive swimmer. She had a compassionate love of animals, and as a youngster was an accomplished equestrian.

Jill was predeceased by her parents, Thomas Patrick and Amy Dzikowski Patrick.
She is survived by her aunt, Diane Patrick, her uncle Paul Patrick and her dear friend and soulmate, Fred Cortright. Jill's loving cat Sha'dow, as well as her sweet ferrets will miss her dearly.
