Jean T. Tierney

Mrs. Jean T. Tierney, 86, died on May 14, 2018 in Montclair.

A family Funeral Mass will be offered in St. Patrick's Cathedral, NYC on Saturday May19, 2018 at 10:00 am with a reception at the home of Mike & Janice at 2:00 pm.

Born & raised in Brooklyn, NY, Mrs. Tierney lived in Bloomfield for 55 years prior to moving to Montclair. Mrs. Tierney spent her career as a receptionist in New York City, last working for Carter Wallace on Fifth Avenue.

She is the mother of Jean Palma (Fred), Michael Tierney (Janice) and the grandmother of Alexandra Babb (Donovan), Kelley Tierney and Michael Tierney.

In lieu of flowers, donations to benefit The Human Needs Food Pantry, Catholic Charities, Development Office, 590 North 7th Street, Newark, NJ 07107 would be appreciated.
