Jean M. Caputo

Mrs. Jean M. (nee Jameson) Caputo, 89, died peacefully on May 10, 2019 at her home in Cedar Grove, NJ.

Visiting in the Prout Funeral Home, (condolences may be left at www.proutfuneralhome.com), 370 Bloomfield Avenue, Verona will be on Monday, May 13 from 4 to 7 pm. A Funeral Mass will be offered in St. Catherine of Siena Church, Cedar Grove on Tuesday at 10 am.

Born in Glen Ridge, Mrs. Caputo grew up in Caldwell and moved to Cedar Grove in 1951.

A lifelong caregiver to family and friends, she worked as a Nurse's Aide in Waterview Nursing Home for 30 years.

Mrs. Caputo was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Rocco A. Caputo, granddaughter, Joelle Caputo and sister, Janet Condit.

She is survived by her loving children, Michael (Lucille), Shawn (Claire), Kathleen (Jon Tesser), John (JoAnn) and Robert (Kathleen) and cherished grandchildren, Tiffany (Paul Willis), Rocco (Kristy), Carmine, Hunter (Kim), Gabriella, Jack, Robert, Mack, Noah, Mary and Hudson and great-grandchildren, Michael, Lena, Olivia and Patrick Willis and Lexys, Nina and Rocco Caputo, Jr.
