James M. Kelly

Mr. James M. Kelly, 77, died on Friday, March 14, 2014 at his home in Lake Hiawatha.
A Funeral Mass will be offered in St. Peter the Apostle Church, Parsippany on Saturday, March 22 at 1pm.
Born and raised in Jersey City, Mr. Kelly moved to Lake Hiawatha 46 years ago.
He had a BS in Business from Rutgers University and a Masters in Business Administration from NJIT. He worked as a Sales Manager, Purchasing Manager & Operations Manager for several North Jersey Engineering, Manufacturing and Construction firms, retiring this past June.
Mr. Kelly served as a Sergeant with the 87th Fleet Marine Force, USMC from 1953 to 1956.
He was on the Troop Committee and was also the Advancement Chair for 25 years of BSA Troop 72 in Parsippany.
Mr. Kelly was the beloved husband of his one and only love, Joyce (nee Donovan) Kelly, the loving father of James W. Kelly (and his wife, Anna-Marie), Elaine Tomzick and Kathy Reid (and her husband, Harry). He is also survived by his dear sister, Patricia Griffin (and her husband, George) and his adored grandchildren, Kelly Tomzick, Daniel Tomzick and Bernadette Kelly.
