Geraldine M. Melisse

Mrs. Geraldine Mary Melisse, 94, died on January 27, 2020 in Morristown, NJ.

A Funeral Mass will be offered in St. Michael the Archangel Church, 1212 Kelly Street, Union, NJ on Monday, February 3 at 10:15 am. Interment will follow in the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ at 2 pm.

Born and raised in Jersey City, Mrs. Melisse has lived in Union since 1955.

She was a lifelong caregiver to her family and worked as a lunch aide for 12 years for the Union Board of Education. Mrs. Melisse was a long time member of St. Michael the Archangel Church where she taught CCD for many years.

Mrs. Melisse was predeceased by her husband, David Anthony Melisse and her children, Merianne Rose Melisse, Nick Melisse and Frank David Melisse.

She is survived by her grandson, Chris W. Rittershofer and granddaughter, Jessica Melisse.
