Florence Arcaro

Ms. Florence Arcaro died peacefully on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at the home of her daughter. She was 98 years old.

Visiting will be in the Prout Funeral Home, 370 Bloomfield Avenue, Verona on Sunday, May 17 from 2 to 5 pm. A Funeral Mass will be offered in Our Lady of the Lake Church, Verona on Monday, May 18 ast 10 am. Interment to follow at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

Born and raised in Newark, Florence lived in Irvington prior to moving to Verona in 1969. She had a career as a homemaker, totally devoted to her family. She enjoyed doing her embroidery, and also was an avid reader. She relished the activities of her grandchildren, and was immensely proud of each one of them.

Florence was predeceased by her daughter, Kathleen DeVizio, her former husband, Bruce Scrivo, her parents and 7 siblings. She is survived by her children, Patricia Segarra (Frank), Mary Siclari (Frank), Bruce Scrivo (Deana) and her grandchildren, Chris Segarra, Anthony DeVizio, Nicholas Siclari, Michael Siclari and Bruce Scrivo.
