Eileen Mackey Tokar

Mrs. Eileen M. Tokar, 93, died on December 13, 2019 in North Caldwell, NJ.

A Funeral Mass will be offered at Our Lady of the Lake Church, Verona on Wednesday, December 18 at 10:30 am.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, Mrs. Tokar lived in Montclair for 26 years before moving to Verona and then North Caldwell in 2015.

She earned her Bachelor's from Manhattanville College and a Master's in Library Science from Caldwell College.

Mrs. Tokar worked as the Development Director for the Montclair Art Museum and in her spare time she served on St. Vincent's Auxiliary, was a member of the Montclair Garden Club and a founding board member for the Van Vleck House & Gardens.

She was predeceased by her loving husband Ray Tokar.

Mrs. Tokar is survived by her children: Mary Barat, Elizabeth Tokar, Katherine Drew Hollerith (John), Vincent Raymond Tokar, Jr. and Christina Theresa Tokar (Lee) and her grandchildren: Charles Tokar Hollerith, Kyle Mackey Tokar Hollerith, Elliot Tokar Feldman and Simon Daniel Feldman.
