Dorri Lynn Timpanaro

Dorri Lynn Timpanaro (Petroski), 66, died peacefully on September 24, 2024 at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, N.J.

Born and raised in Belleville, Dorri moved to Verona in 1994 where she raised her family with her husband, Nick. She graduated from Our Lady of Good Counsel High School in Newark, NJ with the Class of 1976.

She owned and operated a title search company in Jersey City for 40 years, and then worked in Roseland for Fortune Title Agency, Inc.

In 1977, Dorri married the love of her life, Nick Timpanaro. Together, they raised three children, Nicole, Jon and Jaclyn.

She was an avid traveler and together, she and Nick visited London, Spain, Portugal, France, Italy, Ireland, Scotland, Aba, California, and New Orleans.

Dorri was predeceased by her parents, John and Doris (Kiss) Petroski and sister-in-law, Sharon Petroski.

She is survived by her husband, Nicholas Timpanaro; her children, Nicole Timpanaro, Jon Timpanaro and Jaclyn Klingert (John); and her grandchildren, Olivia, Nicholas and Michael Plath. She is also survived by her brothers, Gary Petroski and Gregory J. Petroski, Sr. and her nephews, Frank Petroski (Jordan) and Gregory J. Petroski, Jr. (Karissa) and her niece, Ashlee Spewak (Brandon).

A Funeral Mass will be offered in Our Lady of the Lake Church, Lakeside Ave., Verona at 1:30 pm on Saturday, September 28, 2024.
