Dorothy P. Jackson

Mrs. Dorothy P. (nee Michaels) Jackson, 94, passed away peacefully on February 17, 2023 at her home in Bloomfield, NJ.

Visiting will be held in the Prout Funeral Home, 370 Bloomfield Ave., Verona on Tuesday, February 21 from 6 to 8 pm. Graveside services will be held at a future date.

Born and raised in Wilkes-Barre, PA, Mrs. Jackson lived in Clifton, NJ and Cocoa, FL (18 years) before moving to Bloomfield, NJ in 2008.

She worked as a bookkeeper for Singer Communication in Little Falls, NJ for 17 years before retiring in 1990.

Mrs. Jackson was a member of AARP of Cocoa, FL, the Senior Citizens of Cocoa and the Ladies Guild of Blessed Sacrament in Cocoa.

She was predeceased by her husband, Roman R. Jackson and her parents, John and Anna (nee Sulter) Michaels.

Mrs. Jackson is survived by her devoted son, Mark Jackson and his wife, Jacqueline Berliner and cherished granddaughter, Catherine Jackson.
