Doris Galluccci

Mrs. Doris Gallucci, 86, passed away peacefully on March 27, 2023 at home in Verona, NJ.

Services & Entombment for both Doris & Fred will be held at the Garden Mausoleum (outdoors) in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 225 Ridgedale Ave., East Hanover, NJ on Wednesday, April 5 at 11 am.

Born in Jersey City, she grew up in Newark and lived in Bloomfield before moving to Verona 62 years ago. She graduated from Barringer High School in Newark with the Class of 1956.

Mrs. Gallucci worked as a sales clerk for Gemmell's Dry Cleaners in Verona for 15 years and previously worked for Firemens Insurance Company.

She was predeceased by her parents, Peter and Helen (nee Kopcinski) Demech and her sisters, Rosemarie, Janet and Rachel.

Her beloved husband of 61 years, Fred Gallucci died just 6 days later, on April 2.

She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
