Dora Timpanaro

Dora Timpanaro died on Friday, August 22, 2025 in Cedar Grove, NJ. She was 97 years old.

Visiting will be in the Prout Funeral Home, 370 Bloomfield Avenue, Verona on Tuesday, September 2 from 4 to 7 pm. A Funeral Mass will be offered in Our Lady of the Lake Church, Verona on Wednesday at 10 am.

Born and raised in Newark, Dora lived in East Orange, Bloomfield, West Orange and Deltona, FL prior to moving to Verona in 2019. She was a Tailor for the Waring Dry Cleaners in Nutley from 1969 to 1980.

Dora was predeceased by her husband, Frank Timpanaro; her significant other Patrick DiGiore; her grandson, Frederic Gombash; her daughter-in-law, Dorri Lynn Timpanaro; her siblings, Gus Liaci, Jerry Liaci and Conrad Liaci; and Sharon Petroski who she considered as family.

She is survived by her children, Doreen Gombash, Clara Jane Vogt (and her husband, Kenneth), Nicholas P. Timpanaro and Phillip Timpanaro; her grandchildren, Frank Gombash, Christina Koontz, Kenneth Vogt, Pamela Egle, Nicole Timpanaro, Jon Timpanaro, Jaclyn Klingert, Maria Capozzoli and Francesca Timpanaro; those she loved like grandchildren, Ashlee, Gregory, Frank, Jordan and Danny; and by her great-grandchildren, Isabella, Stella, Eric, Ari, Hendrix, Blossom, Olivia, Nicholas, Michael and Gia.
