Clare Boland Baier Obituary (1960 - 2014)

Clare Boland Baier, 53, died on June 11, 2014 in New York City, surrounded by her large and loving family. Natural burial services on Saturday, June 14 will begin with a Funeral Mass at 10:30 am at Good Shepherd Church, Andover, with burial to follow at Maryrest Cemetery in Mahwah. Born in Denville, Clare was an active and involved member of the Knowlton community for more than 25 years before moving to Newton two years ago. She graduated from Cleveland State Community College with an Associates degree and was close to completing her Bachelors of Science in Foods and Nutrition at the College of St. Elizabeth. Clare was a Dietary Aide at Morristown Memorial Hospital. She was active in the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Team in Training. Clare truly had a love for life and was kind to everyone she met. She is the mother of Kathryn Hawkswell (Brent), George, John, David, Rebecca, Evan and Aubrey, the grandmother of Madalyn, Julia, Gavin and Landon Hawkswell. Mrs. Baier is also the sister of John Boland (James Carroll), Stephen Boland (Barbara), Jeffrey Boland (Patricia), Rebecca Carlbon (Lawrence), Elizabeth Sullivan (Paul), William Boland (Teresa), Mary Ann Davidson (Wayne), James Boland (Gena), Joan Matusiak (Ronald), Thomas Boland (Suzanne) and Kevin Boland (Elizabeth).
