Charles J. Brisson

Mr. Charles J. Brisson, Sr., 81, died on Friday, October 11, 2013 in Caldwell.
A Funeral Mass will be offered in St. Catherine of Siena Convent Chapel, 7 Ryerson Avenue, (Mt. St. Dominic) Caldwell on Tuesday, October 15 at 10:30 am.
Visiting in St. Catherine's on Tuesday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 am.
Born in Elizabeth, Mr. Brisson lived in Iselin for 40 years, Naples, Fl. and Phillipsburg, NJ prior to moving to Caldwell in 2008.
Mr. Brisson served in the Navy from 1951 to 1955 and then worked for AT&T in Newark before retiring in 1969.
He was formerly a member of American Legion Post 471 and Knights of Columbus Council 3639, both in Iselin.
Mr. Brisson is the husband of the late Rosemary (O'Connell) Brisson. He is survived by his children, Dennis Brisson (and his wife, Kelly), Charles Brisson, Jr. (and his wife, Karen) and Kathleen Schroeder (and her husband, Bruce), the brother of Sr. Elizabeth Francis, O.P., Monica Mary Ruff. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
