Antoinette Del Vecchio

Mrs. Antoinette (nee Contardo) Del Vecchio, 98, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 2, 2015 in Mountainside Hospital, Glen Ridge.
A Funeral Mass will be held in St. Aloysius Church,219 Bloomfield Avenue, Caldwell on Wednesday, May 6 at 10 am. Interment Immaculate Conception Cemetery, 712 Grove Street, Upper Montclair.

370 Bloomfield Avenue, Verona on Tuesday from 4 to 8 pm.
Born and raised in Newark, Mrs. Del Vecchio lived in Bloomfield before moving to Fairfield.
Antoinette was a graduate of Central High School. After raising her children, she was a demonstrator for the 7-Up Bottling Company, and worked part time for Hudson City Savings Bank. She was a crossword aficionado and she loved 'her' Yankees.
Mrs. Del Vecchio was the devoted wife of the late Joseph Del Vecchio, the loving mother of Frank Del Vecchio (Dolores), Mary Del Vecchio, Irene Bilotti (Pat) and beloved grandmother of Michael Bilotti, Robert Bilotti, Joanne Roshong, Joseph
Del Vecchio, Michele Galisjewski and Sharon Boxwell. She is also survived by her sister Margaret Forgione and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents Clemente and Leonarda Contardo, brothers Louis, Nicholas and Henry and sisters Mary Lauda and Mildred Contardo and one
great-grandchild, Emily Del Vecchio in 2012.
