Ann M. Krenkowitz

Mrs. Ann M. (nee Connors) Krenkowitz, 87, died peacefully on May 19, 2021 in Hackettstown, NJ.
Visiting will be in the Prout Funeral Home, 370 Bloomfield Ave., Verona on Sunday, May 23 from 2 to 4 pm. A Funeral Mass will be offered in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1 Eagle Rock Ave., West Orange on Monday, May 24 at 10 am.

Facial masks and social distancing will be required at the funeral home and church.

Born in Orange, Mrs. Krenkowitz was a lifelong resident of West Orange. She graduated from West Orange High School - Class of 1951 and worked as a secretary for Monroe in Orange for several years. After marrying Lt. Col. Stanley J. Krenkowitz in 1968 she became a dedicated homemaker who enjoyed keeping in communication with her family and friends over the phone.

She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church in West Orange.

Mrs. Krenkowitz was predeceased by her husband of 48 years, Lt. Col. Stanley J. Krenkowitz; her son John Edward Morrison and her parents, Edward and Honora (nee Morris) Connors.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Valerie Ann Sloboda and her husband, Robert, Jr.; cherished grandchildren, Robert J., III (Jamie), Alicia Ann and Louis Sloboda; and great-grandchildren, Layla and Owen Sloboda. She is also survived by her sisters, Joan Williams (Joe) and Eileen D'Alessio (Al).
